This example shows you how to make a minimap in a very simple way. Uses views.

Explanation

Basically, the example just uses 2 views: 1 for the game, 1 for the minimap. In view 1, the game is drawn as normal, and in view 2, a small representation of this.

Speed considerations

Although this technique is extremely easy to set up, it isn't very efficient. The second view is a scaled-down version of the actual game, something that is (relatively) GPU-intensive. So, use with care.
