Abyssus

Abyssus is a team-effort based on 1980’s Rogue. It was made for a course at the Utrecht University over a period of about 12 weeks. My primary contributions are the whole lighting system, combat mechanics and leading the team.

The game ended up winning the ‘Best Game Award’, and a cake. It was a nice cake. Also, we kept a dev-blog throughout the entire process, which is linked below. Read it if you want to know more!
